Gretchen H. Campbell, M.D.
Dr. Campbell began her career as a neurologist as an associate professor of clinical neurology for Vanderbilt University of Nashville TN. She attained staff appointment at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as well as Williamson Medical Center. After a six year tenure at Vanderbilt, Dr. Campbell transitioned to her current position as a neurologist with KCA Medical Group in 2008. She remains on staff at Williamson Medical Center, Franklin TN, where her home office is located. Dr. Campbell is board certified in neurology, and treats all neurological illnesses including migraines, epilepsy, back pain, neck pain, neuropathy, pinched nerves, carpal tunnel syndrome, multiple sclerosis and a host of other conditions. She offers multiple procedures to determine and treat the root cause of symptoms prior to treatment. KCA Medical Group Franklin is also an accredited center for Tysabri infusions (an intravenous treatment for Multiple Sclerosis).
Dr. Campbell is active in her medical community as a member of the Tennessee Medical Association, The American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association, the American Diabetes Association, The American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the National Headache Foundation.
Dr. Campbell is originally from Birmingham, Alabama and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She subsequently received her medical doctorate from Meharry Medical College. Dr. Campbell then went on to complete her internship in psychiatry and internal medicine, followed by a residency in neurology at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. She was honored to be selected chief resident during her final year. Dr. Campbell is married, has two girls and has lived in Williamson County since 2003.
Marilyn W. Harris, NP
Marilyn Wyatt Harris is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining KCA she worked in Family Practice in the Greater Nashville Area. She has earned both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biology as well a Masters Degree in Nursing. She is currently pursuing doctorate level nursing degree at Vanderbilt University. Marilyn works alongside Dr. Campbell to provide care to all KCA’s patients, with her areas of interest including Acute Migraine Care, Neuropathy, Multiple Sclerosis and Dementia. As a migraineur herself, she brings compassion, understanding, and patient education to the practice.
Of note, Mrs. Harris is also a survivor of breast cancer, which she will tell you allows her to see patients through the lens of a patient having faced a very serious illness.
Mrs. Harris is very active in the medical community as a member of the American Nurses Association and the Tennessee Nurses Association. She is also a volunteer for the American Cancer Society as well as the Susan G. Komen Society. She is married and has 2 wonderful boys.
Michael Bryan, R.EEGT
Mike Bryan joined KCA Medical Group in 2011 as a professional, registered neurodiagnostic technologist with a competent and compassionate approach to patient care. With over 22 years of experience in neonatal, pediatric and adult neurology, he brings the technical expertise, depth of experience and attention to detail necessary for our patients to receive the most comprehensive diagnostic care available, in all modalities of neurodiagnostic testing.
Prior to joining KCA Medical Group, Mike was the President & CEO of Medical Diagnostics (an independent neurodiagnostic company servicing middle TN for more than 17 years).
In the beginning of his career, from 1988 to 1992, Mike worked for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital as an EEG technologist. After 6 months of on-the-job training, several more months of performing more than 1000 studies, and studying independently with the pediatric neurologists on staff, he was qualified to take written and clinical boards and became registered within 2 years. In 1992, he and his family moved to Nashville, and he accepted a position as the director of the Neurodiagnostic Lab at Centennial Medical Center.
Mike is a member of ASET, the “American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists”, and has continued his education by attending regular ASET seminars.
Mike is married to Angela, his wife of more than 22 years, and is a loving father. They have 4 teenaged children, and live together on a small farm in northern middle Tennessee. When he is not working, Mike enjoys taking care of his goats, chickens, and various other animals, while trying to learn gardening and become self-sufficient.
Kathy Casey – Office Manager
Kathy Casey joined KCA Medical Group in 2009. Due to her background, skill set, and excellent rapport with patients and staff Kathy was promoted to Office Manager in 2011. With over 28 years of experience in management in multiple settings including retail store and district management, she brings the practice the necessary ingredients to attend to patient and practice needs alike. Additionally, Kathy also owned a textile business for 15 years with 9 employees. She is particularly sensitive to customer service issues and constantly works to improve the experience of all patients under the care of the practice.
Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Kathy graduated from Western Carolina University and settled in Nashville, TN in the 80’s. She is married and has two wonderful children.
